Spring 2023 Community Reporting Fellow Jimmie Price talked with local dads about their birth stories, their approach to raising children and how they support their partners in pregnancy. This short documentary was part of the Spring 2023 Community Reporting Fellowship’s reporting on Black maternal health.

Jimmie Price is a New Orleans native, environmental advocate and host for the “Crabs N’ Barrels” podcast. Price, 22, graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 2023 where he studied environmental science.
